Sketch Saturday Card

Hiya I have coloured this super cute little Pixie from A Day for Daisies with PolyChromos Pencils onto Neenah card..She has then been cut out using a Tattered Lace Basic ovals die set.as was the gold frame too...For this team I am on we are given a sketch to design our card with ..It is kind of cool takes all the design work out of it in some ways, but there is still the choice of papers ..I have that many pads its getting so hard to choose now ...It is like shoes ,cannot pass a paper pad hehehe!..This design should have been landscape but the image I had would not have looked nice on that,so I did mine portrait, but used the same design base for the card..I actually enjoy doing these cards ,I was worried at first but need not have been lol..The papers that I have used throughout are from First Edition Vintage Christmas ,Very luxurious and I have taken the picture to shoe the lovely foiling on the card..Its a shame that the photos do not really do justice to this card .All the papers were mounted onto gold Mirror card..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Saturday Inspiration ..Morgans Artworld

Hiya Today I have once more followed the theme of the challenge which is Tag It.. I have created a fairly large tag..This I have coloured with my new Zig Pure Color Water Color Brush pens..My first project I have done, practices had not gone well but this one has for some unknown reason lol..Love the vibrant colours they have .. We often forget the tags, humble as they may seem ,but hoe they can turn that over-sized present into much more..that is where these larger Tatered Lace Basic Tag dies come in..I have layered the image after cutting it out onto some pink simmering card from First Editions floral Pavilion then mounted onto gold Mirror card .. I added another tag this is from Docrafts one of their small dies but extremely handy little die..I backed it with white card so it did not look hollow once I popped it in place and also to help support it ..then I added a pretty red polka dot bow and ribbon to tie it to the gift too ,and to finish I cut two butterflies and shaped them and stuck down with 3D glue gel ,make unknown as I have had these on a magnetic sheet in a box for ages..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Sorry although this image is a Morgan Fitszimmon's image..
I can not seem find it's source any longer,it may have
been a monthly freebie at some time ...

Sasayaki Glitter Challenge Reminder

As soon as I saw this adorable image I knew I had to colour her..She has been done using Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,Then cut out using Tattered Lace basic Ovals ..I then cut another oval in some silver Holographic card and mounted the image onto this with 3D gel glue...The backing papers are from Craftwork Cards and its called Chalkboard Christmas..beautiful ,different papers ,nice and thick too..This was also mounted onto more Holographic card..I have used a word one on the back and a feature one behind the lovely girl ,I have used this on another card ,but on this it does look so different ..I trimmed this also with the holographic card..This adds colours and sparkles throughout the card and really looks pretty on the shelf too ..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Digital Delights by Louby Lou ..New Release

Hiya this was a really fun card to make..I coloured the lovely image in with my Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card ,then fussy cut it out leavind a small white line around her..I then created the card usinga template of a mitten from Dutch Doo Ba Doo,The outer card is cut from Gold Centura card and the inner card is a paper printed from a Polkadoodles cd I went around the edge of it with a faux stitch on the inside and out of the card... To decorate the mitten I used pretty lace at the bottom and some check ribbon and once I had stuck my image on with 3D glue gel and added the sentiment I added a variety of colours and sizes of punched snowflakes to the card..It is very novel and I was a bit worried when I started as never done anything like this ,but once I got going I was fine ,in fact it was more fun than I have had in making a card for ages as it was outside the box ..Thank you for popping by :) xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Release

Hiya,For todays lovely new release stamp I have coloured in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card..Then I mounted it onto some red Centura Pearl..The background is another one of the beautiful Kanban foiled cards in the collection I brought earlier this year..I have cut what was left of thr red card into strips and placed them to not only break up the pattern of the foiled card ,but to give it the impression of it being a present  with ribbon around it ..The sentiment is one from this yeard First Editions die sets ..I love these sets, you get a good quality with a good selection of useable dies in each set and of course great value for money too..The card has been designed simple to set off the beautiful stamp ..Thank you for visiting :)xx

Morgans Artworld.>Saturday Inspiration

Hiya, for todays card I have for the first time coloured an image twice..I loved this one last year ,so as I am trying to get my cards done for Christmas I take every opportunity to get another done..I have coloured her using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card..The beautiful papers are from First Editions Guilded Wishes I think its called ,I cannot find the cover at the moment. It has the most sumptuous papers in this collection ,glittered ,foiled and plains .being neutral colours they tend to work with everything...These ones have glittered Snowflakes on them .so rather than mat and layer ,covering them up I decided to design it simply as you can see.the sparkle through the die cuts on your left..I have backed the little figure dies with white card to help them pop out more then gently curled them slightly to give them more depth before adding with 3D glue gel..Thank you for popping by :)xx

Saturday Sketch New DT Card ..Happy Print Club Printables

Hiya for this new DT I have started it is a bit different for me ,First it is using a sketch for the design of the card ,I have never done that ,but it is fun and for my first card the sponsor is Happy Print Club, and they are great for lovely images like this one that I have used today and of course many more for all occasions..
I printed mine several times and decoupaged mine to make it 3D  and popped it onto a pretty lilac slightly oblong card to which I have just added a simple pen outline background to it ,this has kept it very soft and pretty without detracting from the main image.,This was then mounted onto some Purple Centura Pearl..The backing Papers for this card were from Firs Editions Mulberry kissed and these were also mounted onto the same Centura card..The whole card was made from just one sheet of white with a hint of gold Centura pearl, which I folded as you can see in the picture..I dont think the measurements would help as they would be different for every card ,but the box bit at the back I have made at about one and a half inch depth ,this helps the card to stand even with the weight of the topper on it ..But the width and where you pop it is up to you in your own design..Then I added a brace bar across the bottom ,Ideally I would use a small Magnet or even velcro ,that would allow the one end to be detatched and allow the card to fold for posting..If you popped the brace lower you could pop one of those battery lights in and it would look pretty on a Christmas card too ..Thank You for popping by :)xx
