Sasayaki Glitter New Release

For this beautiful image ,I coloured her onto Neenah with Polychromos Pencils,I finished with a background of chalk Pastels..I mounted her onto Hunkydory pink vairigrated card as I did with all the papers..The papers are from First Editions Love Letters..I created a vairied faux ribbon using the two different papers and ran it down the one edge..I added the layers to the card blank then popped the Topper on with 3D gel glue..I used Tonic Woodland Aster dies and cut out the flowers in pink card, then backed them in white..Once shaped they were glued together and added to the card..To finish I added faux pearl roses to the center and two to the left hand side to finish the card..
Thank you for popping by xx

Saturday Sketch Card.. Lemon Shortbread

This lovely image from Lemon Shortbread,I have coloured her using Polychromos Pencils on Neenah card, then used Pastel chalks for a nice soft background..Please note.. the small butterfly is not part of the image,I added that as somehow I had got a couple of marks on the paper and I used the butterfly and the trail to cover them up...The papers I used are from First Edition Floral Pavilion and are mounted onto Centura Pearl in a pretty blue colour. I cut the image out with a Tattered Lace basic circle die then cut the next size up with the next size die but in Blue Centura..I glued the topper to this and added to the card using 3D glue gel.The Fancy swirls are from Crafter's Companion..The Butterfly Lullaby set and is called Fancy Flourishes ....also cut in blue Centura..to disguise where the join between the two swirls is I added the pretty Faux shop brought blooms.. I chose the simple dotty paper as I wanted the image to be the main feature on this card.

Caterpillar Lady

Hiya ..I have been working on this for ages..You won't find this digi any where it is all my own work..I have done this expecially for my Sons friend. This is inspired from Alice in Wonderland ,the caterpillar on the Mushroom..My Son loves this book and wants the theme for his wedding invites ,so should be very different .It has taken in excess of 20 hrs from the beginning to the end ,and really at the end of the day it is why I really wanted to learn to colour,as I was actually only drawing in graphite pencils before and dabbles in Water colours..but I lost all inspiration when I lost my Mum many years ago ..but have done the odd thing in between for others or myself occasionally in the last few years..
First I scanned the origional and turned it into a digital stamp as it was a lot larger ,then I have coloured her onto Neenah card using both Polychromos and Prisma Pencils..I then mounted her onto white, then Purple..The papers I have used are Santorio Mirabelle and are very glitter encapsulated as I have tried to show in the pictures..It gives the effect of a garden across the bottom of the card.I also used some lighter heart paper from the same pad to bring a break into the green ..The dies I have used for the flowers under and on the edge of the image are Tattered Lace  Mini Cherry Blossom which I cut in pink card and coloured the branches with a SN pen.All the papers are mounted onto Purple Centura Pearl..There are so many colours in the image that I tried to bring them into the out side of the image in the mat card and the flowers too..The colours you see are vibrant, but the real card is even more vibrant..I hope iI have shown it to its best ..
Thank you for taking the time to visit :)xx

I have just brought a lovely personalised rubber stamp for the

Sasayaki Glitter Challenge reminder Card

Hiya for today's card I have coloured the image in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card,I then used Pastel chalks on the background taking care to set them with hair spray to prevent them from shedding..I then used a Tattered Lace basic torn circle die to cut the image out and used a scalloped circle to back the picture ,If I remember I believe it was one of my Tonic Dies. The other Die I used for down the side is a Xcut one I believe is called a floral Panel..I backed this with the same hot pink card as the circle and fussy cut around it,leaving a small overlap..I then used First Editions Floral Pavilion Papers which were also mounted on the same hot pink card too..And to finish the card I added some pretty small pearlised pink flowers to the center of the flowers on the floral panel...
Thank you for taking time to pop by :)xx

Sasayaki Glitter New Release

This is one of the cutest  New Releases for Sasayaki Glitter I have done in a while,I love them all but he is just so cute and fun to colour, even if it took over three hours to make the balloons look transparentlol....I have coloured him in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card and done the background with pastel chalks then mounted him onto craft card.I thin added my wiggly line around to finish the picture.I then used some lovely Tonic Papers which were just right for this project and mounted them onto craft card too..To finish I added an assortment of pre-brought flowers which just finished the card off.

Saturday Sketch ..Star Stampz

For this weeks challenge I was excited to colour one of the Star Stamps ,it is a first for me ,so its great to do something different for a change..I have coloured her in with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card, the background has been done using chalks I love these as they can give a soft or very dramatic background..but if using don't forget to fix,I just spray over with hair spray as taught many years ago at school lol!..cheap and cheerful lol!..For mounting papers and the image I have used Centura Pearl in a lovely deep brown like a rich chocolate,Yummy!..The Papers are First Editions Floral Pavilion ..I used 3D glue gel to fix the topper onto the card and the flag..To finish I did a hand written Sentiment and added a Pretty pink rose and a couple of punched leaves..
Thank you for Popping by and Have a Happy Easter :)xx

World Wide Open DT Challenge Inspiration Card

Hiya ,for this months card I have coloured this beautiful creation from the lovely talented Julia Spiri with Polychromos Pencils onto Neenah card.I then cut out ,mounted onto white then onto craft card to create a nice frame around her..I used backing papers from First Editions Love Letters which were also mounted onto craft card..I kept to one layer as the picture was to be the main feature, but I used a pretty panel die I cut in white and mounted onto some green card to bring out the pattern more. This was brought from Ebay ,not sure which maker ,sorry..but the butterfly and the LOVE was cut from dies I purchased from China and were cut in craft card..I added an orangy brown heart to the LOVE ,its sparkly and a pretty tear shaped  gem in the same colour to the butterfly..To  finish I added some small white pearls ..
